PESHAWAR: Recent rains in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have killed six people and injured 24, severely damaged several houses and completely destroyed small houses.
According to details, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said that various accidents occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a result of torrential rains, many houses collapsed while several were severely affected.
According to the PDMA, one person was killed in Shangla and two in Swat, two in Turgar and one in Buner in KP, while 24 people were injured in different incidents due to rains.
The report of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority also said that the rains killed 13 cattle and damaged 76 houses, completely destroyed 7 houses and partially affected 69 houses.
