 KARACHI: The Sindh government has included subjects related to fundamental rights in the curriculum from ninth to twelfth, AAG Sindh said, adding that Sindh is the first province where fundamental rights have become a part of the curriculum.

According to details, the Sindh High Court heard a petition to include basic human rights in the constitution.

During the hearing, significant progress was made in making basic human rights a part of the curriculum. The Sindh government included an article on fundamental rights in the curriculum.

The Sindh Education Department submitted a progress report in the Sindh High Court. The report said that articles on fundamental rights from ninth to twelfth should be included in the books.

AAG Sindh said that the constitution gives rights to the people from cocoon, students will be able to know in education, Sindh is the first province where basic rights have become a part of curriculum.

After the Sindh government submitted its report, the court disposed of the petition.
