ISLAMABAD: PML-N President and Leader of Opposition National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has reached Karachi, accompanied by PML-N leaders Ahsan Iqbal and Maryam Aurangzeb.
Details of Shahbaz Sharif's one-day visit to Karachi have been released. In this regard, PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said that Shahbaz Sharif will speak to the media at Karachi Airport.
Later, he will go to Malir to offer his condolences to the flood victims and offer prayers for the victims of the recent floods.
According to Maryam Aurangzeb, Shahbaz Sharif will check the mood of Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House and will meet Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. National and political issues will also be discussed between the three leaders on the occasion.
During his visit to Karachi, he will visit the head office of Edhi Center in Shahbaz Sharif Tower and meet Faisal Edhi.
PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said that Shahbaz Sharif would visit the affected areas of his constituency NA-249.
He will also meet the citizens of Nazimabad.

It should be noted that Karachi has become the center of politics after the recent torrential rains. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, former President Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto are present in Karachi and Shahbaz Sharif is also about to reach Karachi, sources said. Imran Khan will also visit Karachi on Friday.
According to sources, major decisions regarding the future of Karachi are going to be taken in the presence of elders. Consultations are underway in Islamabad and Karachi for the appointment of an administrator in Karachi.
