KARACHI: The management of National Airline (PIA) has decided to recall its personnel stationed in European countries in view of the closure of flights in Europe.
According to details, the decision by Pakistan International Airlines came in the context of restrictions on PIA flights imposed in Europe, staff deployed in European countries will now be recalled.
Staff from European countries Milan, Oslo, Copenhagen and Barcelona are being called back.
Returning staff from Europe stations will reduce costs. The Europe station will be operated by PIA General Sales Agents. Staff return orders are likely to be issued soon.

A spokesman for the national airline said orders for the return of staff would be issued this week, with staff from four European countries being recalled.
The flight ban was imposed by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency in July. The closure of the operation for Europe is expected to cost the national airline billions of rupees this year. The PIA had set a revenue target of Rs 196 billion this year.
