Riyadh: Saudi Arabia is seeing a decline in house rents, largely due to the corona virus and the various factors that result from it.
According to a Saudi website, real estate agencies in Saudi Arabia say rents for some flats have dropped since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Thamer Al-Qurashi of the Real Estate Agency said that the demand for houses has decreased due to the emigration of foreigners due to the Corona virus epidemic, while the supply of 3- and 4-room flats has increased, so rents for smaller flats have dropped automatically. ۔
Hussein bin Rajaha, a member of the immovable property committee in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, cited another reason for the drop in rents.
He says the Corona crisis is in place, but with the government providing housing, tenants are turning into local homeowners. Houses are also being vacated by locals.
According to Omar Suleiman, Moore's consultant for real estate, the number of buyers of houses has increased these days while the number of buyers of plots has decreased, so the number of tenants is decreasing. This is the main reason for the low rent.
