Sharp-edged attacks in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Two families clashed in Saudi Arabia, the two sides attacked each other with sharp instruments, police arrested 13 people in the operation.

According to Arab media reports, the altercation took place in the public park of Qaniza Commissionerate in Qasim region, where two families who came for a walk suddenly got into a fight and started attacking each other. The video of the fight has also gone viral on social media. Police arrested 13 members of the two families during the operation.

According to the report, women of both the families were also involved in the fight in Awami Park. Five women were also among those arrested by the police.

Qasim police spokesman Badr al-Suhaibani said the two families involved in the dispute were from Yemen.

He said that the arrested persons have been handed over to the Public Prosecution, where they are being interrogated, and the relevant agencies are also investigating to find out the cause of the dispute.

The viral video of the fight also showed several women attacking a vehicle.
