SLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the Prime Minister will once again raise the issue of Kashmir at an important UN forum and demanded that sanctions in occupied Kashmir be lifted immediately.

According to details, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in his statement said that the deteriorating situation in Occupied Kashmir is gradually increasing. He thanked the Turkish President for mentioning the Kashmir issue at the United Nations.

The Foreign Minister said that escalating tensions between the two nuclear powers could threaten the peace of the region. The Prime Minister will once again raise the issue of Kashmir at a major UN forum and draw the world's attention to human rights violations.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi demanded immediate lifting of sanctions in occupied Kashmir and immediate end to communication blackouts.

He said that India was violating the LOC to divert attention from occupied Kashmir. At present, the corona virus was spreading rapidly in India, killing about 1,100 people daily in India.

The Foreign Minister said that India was targeting populations on the LOC to divert attention from mismanagement. The SCO Foreign Ministers discussed the situation in detail and the international community should take immediate notice of the situation.
